About Dr. Tien

Hi! I’m Tien (or Dr. Tien), a resident Ob/Gyn physician and founder of The Chatty Gal.

This story starts in college with a girl, a blog, and a lot to talk about. Growing up, I was always told I was a “chatty gal” with plenty to say and the backbone to say it.

Funnily, when I had the idea to start a women’s health blog in college, I named it: The Chatty Gal. Alongside a group of fellow student writers, I created a space to explore and spark conversations about the social and political landscape of women’s health.

A few things have changed since then. I’m a doctor now, and The Chatty Gal has grown alongside me. But the heart of it remains the same. I continue to be passionate about making women’s health more accessible through research, advocacy, and innovation.

Today, that means bringing together the people, ideas, and innovations moving women’s health forward. And I’m still, of course, your chatty gal.
